In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
